I'm looking for information on a dutch painter called E.Wessels. If anybody knows anything about this particular painter, please let me know. The only thing I know so far is that he produced some paintings during the 2nd world war.

Probably Elizabeth Wessels, born in Rotterdam in 1918, pupil of the Academy in Rotterdam.
Painter of portraits, flowers and landscapes. Not very well known, a very small Dutch master, who made drawings and water colors.
