A boule desk with French walnut veneer, probably made in the Netherlands 1730-1750, was inherited from my greatgrandmother, who lived in Maastricht.Pictures of the desk can be seen at http://www.wfu.edu/~gholz/desk.html. The desk is being restored. Unfortunately, the brasses(drawer handles) currently on the desk are almost certainly not original; they look Victorian.
I would be most grateful for a picture of original brasses(drawer pulls) for this old desk from a book, or a painting, or unmodified furniture from this period.
